Nightdream

I am awake, but I can't open my eyes,
thoughts get lost in self-doubt.
The night outside is black as velvet,
the air smells like red roses.
My soul cries for help, but it is senseless.
I am alone in this darkness.
I can't open my eyes,
I can't see this world outside,
but I won't bear its cruelty.
Behind my eyes is the land, where I want to be.
Lost in dreams of peace of mind.
I am gliding in the land of silence.
The eyes are closed firmly.
I never want to suffer this anguish again.
Bury me deep under a weeping willow,
at the twilight hour between day and night,
then, all my worries and my fears,
would be forgotten.
